City College Peterborough still has plenty to be proud of despite not being crowned as winners in five categories at the Times Education FE Awards.
A prestigious virtual ceremony was hosted by the highly-respected Times Educational Supplement, the world’s longest-running education magazine.
The annual awards celebrate the achievements of outstanding education providers and individuals in the further education sector and adult community learning providers.
It was a fantastic achievement for the college to be nominated for an impressive five awards (below), which was more than any other provider entering.
– Adult and Community Learning Provider of the Year
– Contribution to the Local Community
– Teacher of the Year
– Specialist Provider of the Year
– Support for Learners
Janet Bristow, Deputy Principal / Head of Service said: “Although we didn’t win, being nominated for five different categories against many providers specialising in only one area, was a testament to not only the range and breadth of what the college delivers but also the high level of quality we provide. This was still a great achievement to be proud of and I’d like to say a big ‘Well Done’ to all our staff, learners and supported people.”
