Hello, I have taught in Further Education in the past but originally this was in crafts & everyday living skills as I worked part-time in a hospital as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I took & passed a 730 City & Guilds Teaching Certificate in the 90’s & did go on to do some teaching in Communication key skills but had to leave owing to my caring duties at home. I graduated in a Cultural Studies degree – 2.1 at Peterborough Regional in 2,000 & have since qualified as an Holistic Therapist in various areas, become a Laughter Yoga Leader & done the Teacher training course & have recently completed my Mindfulness Teacher Training Pathway, which has taken 2 years woing to me being a carer & the organisation having some issues. Would I still need to update my teaching skills to teach in Further Ed today please? Best regards
