We’re here to help you to improve your skills and wellbeing at the Mini Vine @ 62 Bridge Street.  This week, we’ve got lots of activities planned to help you and your family enjoy life. Opening hours 9-5 Monday – Saturday, 10-4 Sunday. All of our activities are FREE.

Everyday activities – Monday – Sunday

Children’s arts & crafts – Bring the kids along to get creative on our arts and crafts table.  

School uniform exchange.  Are your young ones ready for the new school year?  You can recycle uniforms ready for the new academic year at the Mini Hub – great for your pocket and the environment.

Knit & Natter, dominoes and scrabble hub.

Library Service, Story time 11.30am  & Rhyme time 2.30pm

Monday 23 August

11-1pm Health & Wellbeing.  We all know that maintaining a healthy body and mind is important so pop along and have a chat with our team to get some helpful tips about how you can maintain your health.

12.30 – 2pm Family Chess. Have you always wanted to learn to play chess or brush up your game skills?  Pop in and have a chat with international champion chess player, Ella, who will be teaching chess on one of our popular Saturday courses. 

Tuesday 24 August

9.30am-4.30pm:  Job and Career Advice. Are you at a crossroads in your career or looking for a new job?   Then have a chat with Andy our career adviser.  He’ll be around to have an informal chat with you and if you would, you can book a meeting to explore what you’re looking for further.

Wednesday 25 August

10-12 noon.  Have you always wanted to work in health care?  Then have a chat with Vanessa and find out how you can progress your career and the different job options available to you.

10-12.30pm Get hooked crochet & knit wits!  Bring your needles and wool along and join our group of share your skills.

Thursday 26 August

10am – 12 noon – It’s all about books! You’ll find lots of help and advice on books and how to enjoy the love of reading with our friends from the National Literacy Trust. You may be lucky and take a free book away with you too!

2pm – 4pm A taste of Family Arts and Crafts   Pop in and have a go at a range of arty and crafty activities with Vicky.  Youngsters and adults are welcome.

1pm-3pm Meet the Cross Keys Homes team for their special crafts and chat session.

Friday 27 August

10-12 noon Would you like to improve your reading skills?  Then pre-book a 30 minute meeting with Rob and he will give you some 1-2-1 help and advice to get you on the right track to improve your English skills.

11am – 2pm It’s Apprenticeship Time!  Would you like to find out more about how you can earn while you learn on an apprenticeship?  Then come in and have a chat with Amanda and find out how you can find an apprenticeship position to work towards a recognised qualification.  Apprenticeships aren’t just for school, college or university leavers.  They are suitable for people of all ages.
