City College Peterborough is proud to announce they have been shortlisted for five Times Education FE Awards.
Now in its 75th year of providing education to the residents, businesses and communities of Peterborough, the College is delighted to have been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Adult and Community Learning Provider of the Year.
- Contribution to the Local Community.
- Support for Learners.
- Specialist Provider of the Year.
- Teacher of the Year.
Organised by the highly-respected Times Educational Supplement, the world’s longest-running education magazine, the prestigious awards celebrate and reward outstanding education providers and individuals in the Further Education sector.
Pat Carrington, Executive Principal, said, “Being shortlisted for one award, let alone five, is an extraordinary achievement and is testimony to the passion and quality of our staff to provide the best educational experience to each and every learner.”
Councillor John Holdich, leader of Peterborough City Council and chair of governors at City College Peterborough, said: “This is the third year running that the college has been shortlisted for these awards, which is testament to the high standard of education that staff there are providing for our residents.
“It is proof yet again that the college is one of the top education providers in the country and continues to make a significant contribution to improving the skill levels of young people and adult learners.
“Fingers crossed for the awards evening in March!”
The winners will be revealed at a gala awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Friday, 20 March 2020.
