City College Peterborough has been awarded ‘Provider of the Year’ at the first Peterborough Apprenticeship Awards. The event which is hosted by the Peterborough Telegraph has been established to celebrate all things apprenticeships. From the providers, to the employers who support the programme, to the apprentices looking to progress in their chosen career path.
The apprenticeship division at City College Peterborough has seen great successes over the years, including their achievement rates rising from 76% to 81%, remaining consistently higher than the national average. One of the colleges apprentices, Chloe Bray was awarded ‘Rising Star’ with her Employer NetSupport who also was a finalist for ‘SME Employer of the Year’.

I’m incredibly proud of our apprenticeship team and assessors who have worked closely with all our apprentices and employers, building and maintaining great relationships across the city.”

We work with the local community in mind, with the aim to help local employers to enhance their business and develop their staff to learn new skills.”
City College Peterborough prides itself on the important role it plays within the Peterborough community and continuously strives to help those wanting to improve their education and skills. The college offers a wide range of apprenticeships from level 2 and 3 courses within Business Administration, Marketing & Social Media, HR, Childcare and more to level 5 apprenticeships, the equivalent to a foundation degree.
