From April 1st 2020, The National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.15 an hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18-year-old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship.

For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

This apprenticeship is for someone to work alongside the childminder in caring and educating the children in a safe and fun environment. There is a set routine for the children and you will be expected to join in with all aspects. You will provide high standards of childcare and education. This includes providing a safe, caring environment to enable the physical, emotional, social and educational development of children, through both individual attention and group activities.
Working week: 36.5 hours – Monday 7:30am -5:30pm, Tuesday 7:30am – 9:30 am & 2:30pm-6:30pm, Wednesday 2:30pm – 6:30pm, Thursday 7:30am – 6:30pm – Friday 9:30am – 2:30pm. These hours could increase if the number of children increase.
