Wellbeing & Inclusion Support Officer

NJC Scale 5 SCP 14-18 £17,681 – £18,870

37 hours per week – Permanent

To provide, maintain and develop administrative systems for the Wellbeing team and SENCo. Excellent customer service to support the achievement of all contract and quality targets.

The role is viewed as being key in enhancing the Adult Learning Service and College’s responsiveness in meeting the needs of Apprentices, Local Businesses, communities and key partners; and in achieving our corporate targets and quality standards.

The successful candidate will join a team of dedicated hardworking and committed staff able to work flexibly within the working week and year.

Strong inter-personal skills are required for this post as the College and Service continues to expand quality provision and meet targets. The ability to work as part of a team and to be self-motivating is essential.

Team Leading /Management Business Trainer

The Apprenticeship and Business Skills department are looking for a Business Trainer who is experienced in delivering to the Team Leading and Management Sector, who is able to deliver Apprenticeship programmes to learners employed in Peterborough and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Engage learners through providing innovative and stimulating lessons

Pay scales are dependent on the courses taught and any teaching qualifications held.

Marketing and Events Manager

The key responsibilities of this post are to manage the service’s marketing and the organization of events.

The post will lead on the development and implementation of the marketing and communication strategy for the organization, its products and services. Key to the development of the service is the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the organization meets the needs of local residents, communities and businesses.

This role will also be responsible for organizing events and setting up premier courses to attract new and diverse customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing additional classroom support to learners and will have experience of working with learners with a wide range of different learning support needs.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Establish effective working relationships with learner/s
  • Undertake the role of Teaching Assistant inside and outside of the classroom in order to provide high quality support, to visually impaired learner/s on study programmes
  • Be pro-active and effecting is providing all aspects of learning support
  • Work effectively with tutors to ensure the level of challenge is appropriate for the learner/s
  • To promote a person-centred approach to the promotion of learning, independence and empowerment of people using services, supporting those people to attain their full potential. This should be carried out in a sensitive manner whilst maintaining individual’s dignity, even when presented with volatile and/or challenging /extreme behaviours.
