Perhaps you’re in between jobs at the moment, or you’re looking to gain some new skills to get you back into the workplace? Either way, our employability training will help you gain the skills necessary to become a successful employee.

Our employability courses are free (subject to eligibility) as they are aimed at helping employers find candidates who are right for their jobs, whilst also boosting the local, current job market.

We have a variety of employability training programmes available at City College Peterborough, they include:

Level 2 Cerificate in Prevention and Control of Infection

This course is designed for individuals who would like to work in a Health Care environment.
It will give you a broad understanding of how to work safely within various settings, such as Care Homes, Dental Practices, Hospitals and Child Care settings.

Level 1 Certificate in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care

This course will assist you in taking the first steps into working in the exciting world of adult social care and progressing onto the level 2 qualification. It will cover a number of topics including the value, principles, communitcation, responsibilities and the role of working in this sector.
