Rooming Officer1 Year Fixed Term Contract

NJC Grade 5 – SCP 14-18 £16,781-£18,070 (20 hours per week pro rata)

We are looking for someone with great communications and organizational skills to take responsibility for rooming at our Education and Conference Centre. You will be a key point of contact for customers, responsible for maximizing our fantastic facilities.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful promotion of our rooming to new and existing customers to achieve challenging financial targets whilst delivering customer excellence in a busy working environment.  The working hours are 1pm – 6pm, Monday – Friday.

Marketing Supervisor – Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)

Pay Grade: Grade 7: SCP 22 – 26; £20,661 – £23,398 (Subject to Job Evaluation Panel)

We are seeking an experienced Marketing executive to oversee the Colleges Marketing department. Key responsibilities will include developing key marketing activities\initiatives to support the continued growth of the College.  Excellent customer services, to support the achievement of all requirements and quality targets. You will be required to work closely with other teams and individuals across the College.

Learning Support Assistants (VARIABLE HOURS) Up-to 24 hours per week (Monday-Thursday) Term Time Only

Fixed Term – till July 2017

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing additional classroom support to learners and will have experience of working with learners with a wide range of different learning support needs
The successful candidate will be required to:
Establish effective working relationships with learners
Be pro-active and effecting is providing learning support
Work effectively with tutors to ensure the level of challenge is appropriate for all learners
Where appropriate advocate and mediate on behalf of young people

If you enjoy meeting people and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills you could be the person we are seeking to become a member of our buy customer service team.  Our student base is very diverse with students of all ages studying with us for work, pleasure and leisure.  You will bring with you enthusiasm, excellent customer service and communications skills and good IT skills.

You will need to work flexible hours, including evenings.

Maths and English Tutors

Non Qualified Teaching rate for trainee teachers £20,701.17 – £21,961.51

As a result of the Government’s agenda to support the ‘up skilling’ of Maths and English as a priority area for young people and Adults, we are excited about the prospect of recruiting more Maths and English experts to join our dedicated team.

Whilst we continue to welcome applications from experienced teaching professionals, teaching experience is not essential. We will be delighted to support the professional development of individuals who are passionate about the value of literacy and numeracy skills; have excellent subject knowledge, with a desire to join the education profession. The range of opportunities include:

  • Full Time and Term Time only contracts
  • Sessional part time courses (variable hours depending on availability)
  • Qualification courses (Functional Skills, Themed awards and GCSEs)

The ideal candidates will have a commitment to improving the confidence, skills and abilities of learners. They will be passionate about education and have proven subject knowledge, previous delivery of iGCSE or GCSE would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Establish effective working relationships with learners
  • Engage learners through providing innovative and stimulating lessons
  • Assess, monitor, support and record learner progress
  • Work as part of a team to achieve timely results
